What do you think of the term "naturalism"? Do you consider yourself a naturalist?

Do you mean in reference to how the term applies to philosophy?

Certainly, especially from the metaphysical aspect (referred to as Ontological Naturalism). Yes, that's what I am.

Yes. (In other words, only natural things exist.) But epistemologically too.

Yes. In my current worldview the only thing I would label "supernatural" is G*D. Everything else in our experience is natural, even when it seems mysterious.

Traditionally, religions were inclined to place a taboo around certain mysteries that we are not "meant" to understand. But the job of Science is to explore those mysteries, so we don't have to be afraid of them, and so we can use them for our own purposes.

The G*D of Deism doesn't have to worry that we will learn too much about He/r secrets. G*D is much bigger than Nature.

I think I'm a naturalist. However some of my ideas (that reality far transcends our local universe; that first person experience is fundamental in nature) would probably place me outside the tent in the eyes of many.

Based on the definitions expressed here, I would agree.

I consider terms like "supernatural" and "paranormal" to be place-holders. Once we understand a thing, we see it for what it always was - "natural" and "normal".

Religions are Man's explanation for what he doesn't understand. Science is Man's attempt to learn all that is natural in the universe. As Gnomon said, only God is supernatural, which is why Science will never discover God.
