I think we must all be very young (mentally) on these deist boards otherwise the discussions wouldn't interest us much.

My maturity has been questioned before

"Some people die at 25 but aren't buried until they're 75."--attributed to Ben Franklin, but I can't verify it. If it was his, he'd have been an exception to his own adage. In fact, when I grew up, the common wisdom was that when you stopped learning you stopped thinking.

I'm a firm believer that brain atrophy is directly proportional to disuse.

God's Debris is a great book. Highly recommended. It's so good that when I loaned it out, I never got it back.

It's not necessarily a deistic book, but Scott Adams is an entertaining read.

BTW, what's the thought experiment he's referring to?

The book I guess.
