Well, the forum is primarily for the discussion of Deism, Panendeism, and related ideas such as philosophy, spirituality, theology, comparative religion, etc., but as I'm sure you've already noticed, we like to discuss a whole range of topics.

Well after "sniffing around" here a few times I can see I'll be spending a fair amount of time here. Good site and a lot of info.

I may not have much to offer this forum because I do not need words, ideas or reasons to live in my heart as though God is. Indeed, reducing God to words and ideas is not faith, but the politicization of faith. “That faith is concerned only with the grasp of ideal values is shown by the New Testament definition which declares that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.” (Urantia Book, 99:5.8 )

Nevertheless, words and ideas are useful. I was drawn here because if I were to split hairs, I would probably be somewhere between panentheist and panendeist as described in the home page.

I agree that words are an inadequate means of communicating the experience of the divine but they're one of the only tools we've got. If the spirit moves you please feel free to join in.
