| Subject: Is There A Logical Inconsistancy? Wed Aug 06, 2008 11:56 am | |
| Travis brought this up on another forum and I thought it was a good question.
Does a logical inconsistency exist if you both believe that:
a. It is most advantageous and desirable to promote a society that champions and protects individual freedom and liberty
AND
b. You do not believe in free will?

| No - because for a logical inconsistency to exist you must assume an incredibly, and incorrect, generalization of the term "free will"
As the famous architect once said, "God is in the details".
