The link below will take you to a YouTube video that I found fascinating. The author is Rawn Joseph, Phd, a sort of genius-at-large. His website is Brain/Mind.com, and his expertise seems to be in the field of Neurology. But in this video he tackles the scientific "religion" of Cosmology, based on "the Big Bang Myth". He seems to argue that the universe is eternal, so has no need for a creation event---religious or scientific---or for a Creator. You may not agree with his theory of "Astrobiology", but the idea that the universe is a living organism may have some implications for Deism.
The voice-over video is almost an hour long, but the computer-generated astrophysics illustrations alone are worth the price of admission for someone with an interest in Astronomy and Cosmology.
